IOS XE includes a cable testing tool for copper 10/100/1000 ethernet interfaces.

First start the test:

test cable-diagnostics tdr interface gigabitEthernet 2/0/7
TDR test started on interface Gi2/0/7
A TDR test can take a few seconds to run on an interface
Use ‘show cable-diagnostics tdr’ to read the TDR results.

Then check the results:

sho cable-diagnostics tdr interface gigabitEthernet 2/0/7
